Goldvine
Flower type: Annual (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This short flower grows up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. Its orange stem is very thin and splits into 5 branching stems three quarters of the way up, and the huge, drab green leaves are dark orange on the underside and are slender, pointed with ripped edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and more leaves alternate on the stem from about halfway up, up to the flower head.
Dozens of large flowers grow in drooping bunches like grapes. The flowers are 5 cm (2.0 inches) wide, with petals that are caramel on the edges and gold at the center. The flower head is largely flat with dozens of widely spaced narrow petals. They detach easily.
It has a powerful scent that smells like old shoes, and it has copious amounts of pollen. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is enjoyed by several specific types of insect.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
