Lime

This small flower grows up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. Its burgundy stem is thick, and the tiny, cyan leaves are asymmetrical with irregular edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.

Each stem splits 4 to 8 times; a single medium-sized flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with solid lime petals and an aquamarine central disk. The flower head is largely flat with 7 tightly layered round-tipped petals. They detach easily.

It has a delicate scent that smells like fruity, and it has very little pollen. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is also visited by some specific types of insect.
