Copper

Tree type: Coniferous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This average-sized tree grows up to 18 meters (59.1 feet) tall and lives for over 3,000 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 3779 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has a long and flexible, straight trunk covered in thick, wrinkled, brown bark, and inside, the very light wood is light brown.

The abundance of branches are very long and thin, covered with copious amounts of miniature, moss green or azure needles. The needles themselves are frail.

In late summer it produces medium-sized, copper aril (seeds with fleshy covers).

The roots are thick and spread across the surface, as well as underground, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.

It only grows on the most fertile lands.
It can survive a long time without water.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
