Spined Turquoise Succulent
Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)This short leaf succulent grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall. The asymmetrical stem is green, and is dotted with small white spines. The finger-like leaves are either olive, or cyan with turquoise edges. Sparse amounts of them grow on round, moss green branches that are very short and thin. The leaves are flexible, but detach easily.
It is very slow growing, taking 11 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with beige petals on the lower layer and sky blue petals decorated with red dots on the inner layer. The central disk is dark brown grows at the top, reappearing after 6 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 34 petals. It has the faintest scent that smells like lemon.
The leaf succulent's skin is tough, the olive flesh is waxy, and the cream sap is thin and causes severe cramps if consumed.
