Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)This big leaf succulent grows up to 81 feet (24.7 meters) tall. The slender, pointed stem is brown, and is covered in thick sheets of fine, black, hair-like spines. The serrated-edged, asymmetrical leaves are found in green, pastel yellow and beige varieties.
