Curved-tip Emerald Flower

Flower type: Annual (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This small flower grows up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. Its green stems grow in bunches of 8 and are thick with a curved tip, and the small, emerald leaves are long, tapering with smooth edges. The leaves alternate on the stem from about halfway up, up to the flower head.

Many medium-sized flowers grow in a bunch at the end of the stem. The flowers are 6 cm (2.4 inches) wide, with dark brown petals and a peach central disk. The flower head is made up of several petals in raised layers. They fall easily.

It has a delicate scent that smells like leather, and it has excessive amounts of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind, but is enjoyed by several specific types of insect.

It can survive a very long time without water.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
