Blue Creeper

Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This short creeper is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 14 feet (4.3 meters)0.

It takes 3 months for the brown stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are smooth and rubbery.

The pleated, smooth leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are found in deep green and blue varieties, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces copious amounts of giant cyan flowers, and during the early autumn, after flowering, it produces lots of very large fruits.


It is suitable for making paper
The entire flower is edible and extremely spicy.
