Indigo Grass
Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in its stem)This small, silver or indigo grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The asymmetrical stalks grow in large clumps that are sturdy and flexible.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, red tuft.
During the mid-summer, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of medium-sized grains.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
It usually houses a colony of beneficial insects.
