Turquoise

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 138 years old. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has dozens of sturdy, crooked stems covered in delicate, rough, yellow bark, and the wood inside is black with white speckles.

The branches trail down towards the ground with dozens of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of giant, very thick, leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are a shade of white or turquoise that gradient shifts to aquamarine at the top, frail and soft.

It produces several medium-sized, beige flowers with many layers of petals. They are hardy and have an intense scent that smells like wet dog. In late winter it forms giantyellow seed pods.
