Orange Moss

This muted orange moss is commonly found growing in large clumps In damp forests, In moorlands, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is large, growing up to 7 inches (18 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is extremely flimsy.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release thousands of spores.
