Turquoise vine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This small bine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 8 feet (2.4 meters) and growing as high as 89 feet (27.1 meters).

It takes 7 months for the gold stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are smooth and fuzzy.

The thin, leathery leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are solid caramel or turquoise, with pink streaks, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the bine produces handfuls of small florescent green flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces lots of large berries.

It is suitable for making strong rope
