Copperactus

This small cactus grows up to 12 feet (3.7 meters) tall. The spear shaped stem is yellow, and is covered in many rigid intense red spines. The spherical body is copper, and is dotted with small grey spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 13 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with solid indigo petals decorated with purple lines and a violet central disk grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of several petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight star. It has an intense scent that smells like freshly washed clothes.

The cactus's skin is delicate, the orange flesh is sticky, and the slate sap is thin.
