Redvine

This modest-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 50 feet (15.2 meters) and growing as high as 129 feet (39.3 meters).

It takes 12 months for the white stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 5 inches (13 cm) and are rough and gnarled.

The spear shaped, leathery leaves reach up to 11 inches (28 cm) in length. They are brown on the sides and intense red at the center, and have wavy edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces dozens of small lime flowers, and during the early autumn, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of small berries.
