Magenta Climber

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This average-sized bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 30 feet (9.1 meters) and growing as high as 90 feet (27.4 meters).

It takes 2 years for the black or magenta stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 5 inches (13 cm) and are smooth and rubbery.

The oblong, clammy leaves reach up to 1.6 feet (48 cm) in length. They are found in amber, bold purple and beige varieties, and have irregular edges.

It is very rare outside of a particular area.
