Violet Bindweed

This big bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 241 feet (73.5 meters) and growing as high as 43 feet (13.1 meters).

It takes 2 years for the orange stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 1.3 feet (41 cm) and are tough and woody.

The wide, fuzzy leaves reach up to 2.6 feet (79 cm) in length. They are gray with ashy blue tips, and have tattered edges.

During late spring, the bine produces copious amounts of colossal violet flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces lots of small seed pods.
