Coppergrass

Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This modest-sized, copper and yellow grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The finger-like stalks grow in sparse patches that are durable.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, crimson tuft.

During the late autumn, it produces lots of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of tiny grains.

It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
It is almost impossible to grow from cuttings.
It only grows on the most fertile lands.
