Coppergrass

This small, copper or lilac grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The circular stalks grow in large clumps that are strong and tough and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, sky blue puff.

During the early summer, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of tiny grains.
