Bloodgrass

This small, silver grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The 3 pointed stalks grow in thin clumps that are robust.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, blood red puff.

During the late autumn, it produces excessive amounts of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of small grains.
