Bluevine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This giant vine is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 1,601 feet (488.0 meters) and growing as high as 671 feet (204.5 meters).

It takes 26 years for the silver stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 4.3 feet (1.3 meters) and are smooth and fuzzy.

The very thick, waxy leaves reach up to 3.3 feet (99 cm) in length. They are solid blue with turquoise edges, and have toothed edges.

During late spring, the vine produces many balls of average crimson flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces plenty of large seed pods.
