Gray-green Moss

This gray-green moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas On trees, In bogs, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is giant, growing up to 1.1 feet (33 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is extremely resistant; it can easily endure flooding and draughts.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release millions of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
