Copper

Flower type: Perennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small flower grows up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. Its deep purple stem is very thin and splits into 4 branching stems three quarters of the way up, and the tiny, copper and silver leaves are very thin with irregular edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

A single medium-sized flower sits at the end of each stem. The flowers are 4 cm (1.6 inches) wide, with solid pink petals decorated with cream dots and a green central disk. The flower head is made up of 60 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight dish. They detach easily.

It has a mildly strong scent that smells like misty mornings, and it has lots of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by a small species of bird.

It is possible to grow it from cuttings.
