Bluebellucca

This short caudiciform grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall. The slender, pointed stem is orange-yellow, and is dotted with small beige spines. It has a slanted, narrow, drab orange trunk atop a flat ball of smooth, exposed roots. The branches are flat and gray-green and are very long, thin and wispy.

The smooth-edged, very narrow and elongated leaves are bold blue and faded purple. They are robust, and take little effort to detach.

It is slow growing, taking 40 years to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with alternating petals of sky blue and turquoise, with a light brown central disk grow at the top, reappearing once every 10 years. The flower head is made up of 10 petals in raised layers. It has an intense scent that smells like fermented fruit.

The caudiciform's skin is delicate, the amber flesh is rough, and the azure sap is thin.
