Bluevine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This short bine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 18 feet (5.5 meters) and growing as high as 881 feet (268.5 meters).

It takes 3 months for the silver stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are flat and wavy.

The asymmetrical, rough leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are solid hazel with vivid blue edges, and have toothed edges.

It can survive a very long time without water.
It has impressive regenerative properties.
The sap is edible and very sweet.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
