Copperbell

This massive flower grows up to 11.4 feet (3.5 meters) tall. Its copper stem is very thick, and the huge, copper or grey leaves are spear shaped with smooth edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

3 to 8 small flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 34 cm (13.4 inches) wide, with alternating petals of violet and cyan, with a light grey central disk. The flower head is made up of handfuls of petals in raised layers. They are hardy.

It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like mint, and it has excessive amounts of pollen,but it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects , but is also visited by a small species of bird.
