Emerald Grass

Grass type: Perennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This small, emerald grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The circular stalks grow in thick clumps that are flexible and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, copper tail.

During the mid-autumn, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of tiny grains.

The leaves have medicinal properties.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
It blooms only at night.
