Copper Succulent

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This large cactus grows up to 79 feet (24.1 meters) tall. The needle-like stem is slate and copper, and is covered in handfuls of fine, red, hair-like spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 9 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with petals that are pastel purple at the sides and peach at the center grows at the top, reappearing once every 2 years. The flower head is largely flat with handfuls of widely spaced narrow petals. It has a strong scent that smells like honeysuckle.

The cactus's skin is very thick, the blue flesh is rubbery, and the lime sap is thin.


It comes in 56 varieties.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It only grows on the most fertile lands.
