Caramel Puff Grass

Grass type: Perennial (Grows the first year, flowers the second year, then dies)

This modest-sized, pink-red grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The sickle shaped stalks grow in thick clumps that are flexible and they are exceptionally hardy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, caramel puff.

During the mid-autumn, it produces very little pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of tiny grains.

It is almost impossible to grow indoors.
It is difficult to cut through.
The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
