Indigo Vine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This short bine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 23 feet (7.0 meters)0.

It takes 8 months for the silver stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are rough and fibrous.

The thick, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are indigo on the edges and black at the center, and have ripped edges.

It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
It is often home to a particular bird species.
It comes in 11 varieties, each with a different leaf colour.
Their seeds have hallucinogenic properties.
