Lime Green Moss

This yellow moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps In heathlands, On trees, and In marshes.
It is average-sized, growing up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps, and is very strong.
When mature, emerald teardrop-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release millions of spores.
