Olive Puff Grass

This small, lime green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The needle-like stalks grow in thin clumps that are flimsy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, olive puff.

During the early winter, it produces lots of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of small grains.
