Azurevine
Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This colossal bine is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 559 feet (170.4 meters) and growing as high as 432 feet (131.7 meters).
It takes 43 years for the azure stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 4.7 feet (1.4 meters) and are smooth and woody.
The stiff, pointed, soft leaves reach up to 3.8 feet (1.2 meters) in length. They are purple and gold, and have smooth edges.
During late spring, the bine produces copious amounts of small sky blue flowers.
It is often home to a particular bird species.
