Purpleberry
Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This modest-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 46 feet (14.0 meters) and growing as high as 92 feet (28.0 meters).
It takes 5 years for the moss green stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 2 inches (5 cm) and are thick and twisted.
The long, narrow, sticky leaves reach up to 1.7 feet (51 cm) in length. They are purple and gold, and have toothed edges.
During late spring, the creeper produces hundreds of large olive flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces lots of tiny berries.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
