Violet vine

This massive bine is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 1,194 feet (363.9 meters) and growing as high as 405 feet (123.4 meters). It prefers to grow on rock formations.

It takes 17 years for the white and caramel stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 1.7 feet (51 cm) and are smooth and slick.

The needle-like, crispy leaves reach up to 1.7 feet (51 cm) in length. They are white on the sides and violet at the center, and have serrated edges.

During late spring, the bine produces a handful of large blood red flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces lots of tiny berries.
