Blueberry Succulent

This modest-sized leaf succulent grows up to 58 feet (17.7 meters) tall. The narrow stem is orange-yellow, and is covered in brittle brown spines. The rounded-edged, sickle shaped leaves are blue and beige. Large amounts of them grow from the base in alternating layers of 2, then 4, then 6, and so on. The leaves are hardy, but are very difficult to pull away.

It is very fast growing, taking 4 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with petals that are blood red at the sides and black at the center grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is largely flat with many raised narrow petals. It has a faint scent that smells like lemon.

The leaf succulent's skin is nearly impenetrable, the cyan flesh is slimy, and the blood red sap is thin.
