Hazel Moss

This dark brown and hazel moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In rainy mountain ranges, In damp forests, and In marshes.
It is average-sized, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps, and is extremely resistant.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release millions of spores.
