Brown Tuftgrass

Grass type: Perennial (Grows the first year, flowers the second year, then dies)

This massive, brown grass grows up to 34 feet (10.4 meters) tall. The very thin stalks grow in large clumps that are strong and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, white tuft.

During the late autumn, it produces a modest amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of giant grains.

It is almost impossible to grow indoors.
It commonly grows in large patches.
It is suitable for making strong rope
