Copperbell

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This modest-sized cactus grows up to 22 feet (6.7 meters) tall. The tapering stem is copper, and is covered in lots of flexible olive spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 21 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with solid pink petals decorated with pale red lines and a sky blue central disk grows at the top, reappearing once every 6 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 54 curved petals. It has a soft scent that smells like a newborn baby.

The cactus's skin is thick, the slate flesh is soft, and the indigo sap is thin.

It releases hallucinogenic smoke when burned.
It commonly grows in large patches.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
