Blue Vine

This short vine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 18 feet (5.5 meters) and growing as high as 47 feet (14.3 meters).

It takes 2 months for the red stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are rough and fibrous.

The 7 pointed, smooth leaves reach up to 2 inches (5 cm) in length. They are sky blue and turquoise, and have tattered edges.

During late spring, the vine produces large amounts of small vibrant blue flowers.
