Aquamarine Succulent

This short leaf succulent grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The perforated stem is yellow, and is covered in many fine, beige, hair-like spines. The smooth-edged, umbrella-shaped leaves are bold green at the bottom and aquamarine with pink splotches at the top. Large amounts of them grow from the base in alternating layers of 3, then 6, then 9, and so on. The leaves are fairly frail, and easily come away when pulled.

It is very fast growing, taking 2 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with solid peach petals decorated with yellow dots and a bronze central disk grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of dozens of petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight bowl. It has a fairly strong scent that smells like bonfire smoke.

The leaf succulent's skin is very thick, the turquoise flesh is rough, and the bronze sap is thin.
