Caramel Grass

This short, caramel and beige grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The stiff, pointed stalks grow in thin clumps that are resistant and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, lilac flower.

During the early winter, it produces lots of pollen,but it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of large grains.
