Copper Spearleaf
Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)This large leaf succulent grows up to 100 feet (30.5 meters) tall. The very narrow, elongated stem is pink-red, and is dotted with small beige spines. The smooth-edged, spear shaped leaves are copper at the bottom and gentle red with florescent orange dots at the top. Small amounts of them grow from the base in no particular order. The leaves are flexible, and take some effort to detach.
It is steady-growing, taking 5 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with solid subtle blue petals decorated with brown dots and a caramel central disk, grow at the top, reappearing once every 8 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 50 petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like freshly washed clothes.
The leaf succulent's skin is extremely thick, the cyan flesh is sticky, and the gold sap is thin.
It makes a distinctive sound when the wind blows through it.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
