Copperleaf

This average-sized, copper grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The thick stalks grow in thick clumps that are strong and tough.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, crimson tuft.

During the early summer, it produces a fair amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of large grains.
