Magenta Creeper

This short creeper is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 18 feet (5.5 meters)0. It prefers to grow on man-made objects.

It takes 6 months for the moss green stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are smooth and woody.

The very narrow and elongated, rough leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are caramel at the bottom and magenta with subtle yellow streaks at the top, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces several large orange flowers, and during the early autumn, after flowering, it produces lots of very large seed pods.
