Copper Moorland Moss

This copper moss is commonly found blanketing large areas In moorlands.
It is large, growing up to 8 inches (20 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps, and is extremely delicate.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release hundred of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
