Blue Creeper

This short creeper is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 14 feet (4.3 meters) and growing as high as 27 feet (8.2 meters).

It takes 3 months for the brown stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are rough and prickly.

The slender, pointed, smooth leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are generally blue, and have wavy edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces a thick sheet of tiny amber flowers.
