Emerald Pink Moss

This pink moss is commonly found growing in large clumps In rainforests.
It is small, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is extremely rigid.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release thousands of spores.
