Copper vine

This average-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 27 feet (8.2 meters) and growing as high as 120 feet (36.6 meters).

It takes 4 years for the pink-red stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 2 inches (5 cm) and are tough and woody.

The very thin, smooth leaves reach up to 11 inches (28 cm) in length. They are either copper or deep purple, with brilliant red dots, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the vine produces balls of tiny azure flowers.
