Copper

This short flower grows up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. Its lime green stems grow in bunches of 5 and are thick with a curved tip, and the small, gray-green leaves are finger-like with smooth edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

2 to 8 medium-sized flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 5 cm (2.0 inches) wide, with solid copper petals decorated with bright yellow lines and a sky blue central disk. The flower head is made up of 44 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight star. They fall easily.

It has the faintest scent that smells like wet dog, and it has a fair amount of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind, but is also visited by one species of insect in particular.
