Orange Moss

This orange moss is commonly found growing in small clumps On rotten logs, and In moorlands.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is extremely flexible.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release millions of spores.
