Red Spikegrass
Grass type: Biennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This modest-sized, red grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The finger-like stalks grow in large clumps that are strong and they are slow to spread and grow.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, cream spikelet.
During the early autumn, it produces lots of pollen, but it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of tiny grains.
It is suitable for making paper
